Up for sale is this amazing price point Porsche 911 2.7 Euro ROW Targa running project I originally purchased this car for a future hot rod build but now don't have time. Biggest reason I purchased the car was because its engine ran good so that was a great prospect. I will be honest and upfront as possible even though it may or may not hurt the listing I see other people listing cars with the bare minimum and get away with it ?!? This isn't the case. If you have questions ask awayOff the bat this is not a concours garage queen car so please don't treat it as so.It's a running engine project car, a fixer upper. I didn't dig too much in the car but I did do small projects I lubed misc mechanical items, removed tint in targa glass,did minimal repairs, vacuumed the car, and just took notes of various pieces that needed attention. Car looks to be pretty solid, so didn't want to part it. The potential is there, asking price is very budget minded for the New Porsche enthusiast Due to my new shop opening up I need the space more than a project car.I'm trying to unload as many bulky things as possible It runs and drives but has a bad fuel line, Idles fine with starter fluid Line has to be replaced in tunnel once replaced give it a good inspection and take it out for a drive. Obviously you wouldn't want to go from New York to Los Angeles right away (before really going through it) or use it as a daily commuter. Chassis Looks to be complete its mostly there Here is what I think it needs Decklid grill (had a tail)Speakers/stereo if you care Knee pads Proper door panels Some light body work Proper tires A brake job bleeding/parts (why not ?)Oiling and greasing parts Windshield Further detailing and cleaning Maybe refinish targa top ? Previous work:Engine looks to have been serviced Fuel tank looks to have been refurbished Fuel pump and fuel filters replaced Spark plugs wires and misc hoses looked changed Has 930 valve covers OIL filter looks replaced Has a Perma tune IGNITION SYSTEM w/ a performance coil Battery is very strong and easily starts the car up (starter fluid) Engine does sound very strong NO BAD INTERIOR SMELL Misc items included such as the fuse box cover Door panels Engine is a euro type engine 911/81 know as "ROW" Rest of world Transmission is 915 Mileage: speedometer says 82k miles Can't exactly verify that but judging by the car and engine it look about right This part I can't guarantee Paint is a little rough either restore it or do minor repairs and enjoy it as is. Good donor car. Comes as pictured Has targa top assembly Gauges Speedometer upgraded for USA road legal No bad smell inside, most cars of this era tend smell like the 70sThis one surprisingly doesn't ! Lower Carrera valance has seen nicer days has Carrera fog lights too Rear driver side quarter had a weird repair or something Door panel removed in photo but included Have some extras to go with it. Paint was pearl white some clear coming off turning yellowish Bumper front smile missing in photos but included Has misc paint chips Manual windows work (needs more oiling) Lower AC dash not in great shape can be repaired ?Dash includeded but cracked recover it or replace Most switches appear to work Has Perma tune ignition Previous owner put some TLC before selling it but not enough it seems Misc parts through engine replaced Tank looks refurbished Battery is strong Clean clear California title included All vin tags are where they are suppose to be Trunk plate, vin near smugglers lid, a pillar, b pillar lower latch. Asking price I feel is very fair for what it is It's not a give away flipper carBut it's a decent good starter car for the new enthusiast. It's a very fun car to own, especially if you are on a budget, the prices of these cars have sky rocketed.
