For parts or repair, 1999 Ford Ranger, no reserve. The story: Motor no good? I am a poor mechanic so not sure what went wrong, or how bad it is. All I know is I moved on- about 1 1/2 years ago the needle on the oil gauge was flickering. I took it to my mechanic who diagnosed it as a faulty sensor. He replaced it... the needle seemed fine but this was apparently not the only issue! Back to driving it, I left it running to enter into my residence for a few minutes, and came back out to find the motor making an awful noise. I shut it down and it has sat since until now to sell it. Rest of truck: The transmission is in good condition, was strong at point of retiring the truck. It was not worked too hard- only towed a lawn tractor on a 5 X 8 trailer to my second property and back, and did not load the truck very much. The frame is solid- basically had it oiled every year. All the electrical system worked. Bed is in surprisingly good shape such as only spots of surface rust above wheel wells. Radio works but I never tried the CD player, so? Vin number is 1FTYR14V2XPA19686. I have the title available. Problems: Numerous small things. Like tailgate latch is weak on right side (have to shut it firmly before it latches), lid on the compartment between the seats does not stay shut, back tail lights have cracks (see pictures) AC only ran cold for about 5-10 minutes before stopping to blow cold (I never had this checked out), tires are mismatched at this point and are not very good tread wise, a crack here and there on the plastic moldings, lots of paint scratches / dings throughout the body and needs a bit of body repair on passenger's side... It will not come with a battery. I bought new one just before the truck "died" on me, and I plan on taking it out when the truck is taken away. Cash payment will be made the day of picking it up. It has aluminum rims. The pictures show only three, but the 4th is available and included- it has a good studded tire. Since the motor is not working, the buyer will need to arrange to have it towed / trolley / flat-bedded from the property.
