1961 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible This is a very complete and original car. I bought it from an "estate sale". It will need a full restoration but is rare and valuable when finished. 394 V-8 with 330 HP, Hydramatic automatic transmission with floor shift, bucket seats and factory tach. Car has not been started in a while so unsure what will be needed to make it run and drive. I was told by previous owner's son that it was running last year. This may be accurate as the battery is from 2016. Seats have been reupholstered in red vinyl and look great. Unfortunately, there is a very small tear in the passenger seat where something punctured it (see pic). Balance of interior will need to be re-done. Please see pictures for more detail. Convertible top frame is complete but I have not tried to operate it. Top material is gone. Body is rusty - will need some metal work as well as panel replacement. Drivers side floor pan needs replacing. Frame is good. This car is not for a novice but is worthy of a restoration. It is complete and original and very rare. Only 7600 were produced as they were the most expensive Oldsmobile in 1961. Please see pictures for details or feel free to email me with any questions.
