It’s no longer a daily driver, but I do take it out about twice a week just to drive. This has the SSL package which includes factory HID headlights, Infinity Stereo system, Leather Recaro Seats & Sunroof. All scheduled maintenance is up to date, including the “60k service” done at a little over 80k by CBRD Speedfactory in York PA, replacing the timing belt (with gates racing belts), water pump, pulleys & tensioner in August 2012. The majority of the performance parts were installed at CBRD at this time: BBK turbo, GSC S1 cams, Gauges, Grimmspeed EBCS, Megan o2 housing, STM one piece clutch line & a performance tune. They also replaced the head gasket. I use all Amsoil fluids and have been since the BBK turbo installation (engine oil, transmission, tcase & brake/clutch fluid), prior to that the car was on Mobile 1. In August 2015, it needed a new clutch so I decided to have the transmission and tcase rebuilt (nothing was wrong with them, just wanted peace of mind). Jacks Transmission rebuilt the transmission & tcase (additionally installing an OEM LSD & brand new OEM ring & pinion) at 112k. A new Exedy single HD went in with an OEM Flywheel, all pulled & installed at CBRD Speedfactory. The car isn’t without its issues. The check engine light is on. It’s code P0122 – TPS/Switch Low Input. I’ve recently replaced the TPS with a new OEM one but the light is still on. The front passenger strut makes a clunking noise. It needs to be replaced (or just buy some coilovers). I’ve been driving it that way for quite some time (going on three years?) and it hasn’t given me an issue other than being an annoyance. When tuning the car, CBRD noted the biss screw (in the throttle body) was stripped and wasn’t able to be adjusted. They noted that it may act like it wanted to stall when coming to a stop in cooler weather (which it does) and that they tuned it to prevent it from actually stalling (by adding fuel). CBRD recommended buying a new Throttle Body (which I did and will include! – see below) and getting retuned when I wanted to do my next modifications. Despite the above issues the car runs great. It boosts strong and pulls hard to redline. She is clean for being over 13 years old. There are a few rock chips on the front bumper and the lip was dinged. The typical Evo Brembo brake fade & spoiler deck peeling, but nothing not expected from an aging car. I have all receipts for the above maintenance, modifications & tune. The car has never been smoked in during my ownership and the paint still shines after every wash. Title is clean and in-hand. The reason I've decided to sell it is that I've started a family and can no longer invest the time or money to maintain it properly or enjoy it. I’ve disclosed as much as I can think of off the top of my head, but I’m sure there are things I’m missing. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask! If the buy it out now option is used, I will include my last round of performance mods and complete brake job I intended on doing, which it’s due for (about $1400 in parts).- VRSF Intercooler 3.5’’ (brand new)- Full Blown 70mm Throttle Body (brand new)- Curt Brown Racing 70mm OEM Ported Intake Manifold (freshly ported core)- Centric Premium Rotors F&R (brand new)- Centric PosiQuiet Brake Pads F&R (brand new)- Goodridge SS Brake Lines F&R (brand new)- Mishimoto Radiator Hoses (Black) (brand new)
