PT Cruiser fans, I am selling a very unique, one of a kind, customized 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited. With on 43k original miles, this retired show cars is a looker! Where do I start! The vehicle has every option available in that year to include comforts such as: · Heated front seats · Full power options (windows, doors, locks Ext.) · Moon Roof · Side airbags · Power seats · CD Player · Leather and Suede seating The interior is like new!!!! Seats barely look sat in. What separates this car from the rest are the custom features, a few include: · Custom wheels · Custom Carriage wheel cover on the truck · Chrome interior package with custom door thresholds and PT insignia door panels · Wired for back-up camera · Chrome wheels well covers · Custom phantom Grill · Custom tinted tail lights · Chrome pillars · Custom Retro molding package · Chrome Mirror covers · Rare Heated front seats · Power front seats · Sunroof · Leather and Suede seating · CD Player · Full Power options such as windows, locks, etc. · Side Airbags · Etc. · Chrome full front and rear bumper covers (oxidized) Now for the special part. The car is equipped with the one big thing PT Cruiser’s lacked; power. This one is equipped with a Whipple Charger. These were developed as a bolt-on supercharger kit that the designers tout as delivering up to a 50-percent gain in horsepower and torque through much of the 2.4L I-4’s rpm range. The complete supercharger kit costs $3650 and is a fairly straightforward installation that should take 5-8 hours to perform. The vehicle has never been smoked-in and has been adult driven. The engine and transmission purr and shift like they should, no skips or slips on shifts. The A/C works well and blows cold air! The Heat is nice and toasty! All the gauges and functions are in working order and have been well maintained. Unfortunately, the vehicle is not without flaws. There are minor paint chips and scratches as to be expected. Most unfortunately, like most PT Cruisers which have lived in the East Coast, it has K-Frame, Rear Axle and suspension rust. The rust is extensive on those components and I would recommend replacing them if you plan on using it as a daily driver. I have priced the components and had planned to replace over time but have moved on to other projects. Due to the under component rust, I have listed it as a NO RESERVE auction so that the buyer can decide their restoration plan. I had the rust treated to prevent further decay and have provided pictures of the before and after. I have tried to take clear pictures of the rust so that you know what you are buying; no surprises.
