Vehicle Detail
Of course I've been back-and-forth, I love this car, but it must go. No Reserve, 2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.35k miles, 6 Speed Manual. I Runs excellent, overall condition in my opinion is very good. I wish (and I tried) over the years to keep it "mint", but so difficult. This car was garaged mostly, except for San Diego, it was outside under a cover. I am the only owner. I bought this in late 2008, as one of only a few listed for sale. I bought it on EBay and pricked it up myself. It needs a little TLC as I am more descriptive below. 2009 model is a well searched year, as they only produced a few thousand (lowest year ever) models, knowing in 2010 the new body-style is unveiled. I had added to the car, the cold air intake system which added HP. Also, it was tuned (with a tuner I am giving you with the purchase of car). The tunes are programmed already for any variation you want. I am including the pulley I bought but never installed, this gives 3-5 more lbs of boost to the supercharger. I try to keep up with the times, so I added all Memphis Audio speakers and 2 Memphis Amps, in box, custom made and custom wrapped. There is a custom vinyl wrapped box, which houses a 12 inch Memphis subwoofer. The deck is the new Kenwood excelon, with every option including Bluetooth, so all your maps, apps etc are on the screen. It is mechless, no CD. The audio system is unbelievable and all professionally installed. Every button, lamp, switch in the car works like new (except the one I left unplugged) air is cool, heat is hot. Electro-chromatic mirror works flawlessly. I also had installed in March 2016, Nitto Invo Tires and Niche custom rims. I hated the F1 stock tires and these Invo's have incredible grip and sensitivity. The turns are wonderful. The battery is new, Ive changed the oil 15 times since new, the brakes are new all around in February 2016. The Good: The Audio. The fact that Everyone wants to look inside (still). And everything else. The Bad: a few scratches, a tiny ding, ambient lamp (1) needs to simply be plugged in. Drivers seat is scratched. Front speakers need to be plugged in, sub needs to be powered. The Ugly: Inherent for the year (I tried darn it, I really did) there are a few scratches: on the trunk top, front bumper. They are not deep. I tried to fix the scratches on the trunk top, I bought a 60 dollar kit. It didn't work as I have no experience. It left extra black paint. There is a small ding on the top of car (have to look really hard) this is when i needed my pen, I asked my nephew to toss it over, and he throws it up in a flipping direction. It came down straight on top of car (cant forget that). I got a quote from a professional detailer for 1300, this is for wet sanding etc. They said they could get it "Mint" The audio deck is great, but i wanted to switch it out for the biggest screen I could get, so I never finished hooking up the front speakers. its easy and all wires are taped behind deck, other speakers are perfect. Also, I quickly powered the Sub to the deck, you will need to connect the sub to the Amp with wire that is already behind deck. Once you're doing this, simply snap the connectors under the center console to return the ambient lamps in cup holders. I just didn't have time to finish this before I moved. I worked for Best Buy audio so installs are a breeze for me, now knowing I would sell the car for sure, I just didn't finish. No one, except you, would even know when you turn on stereo though. I do have the original deck in storage, it will not go with the car, but I will locate it (big, packed storage) and since you will have my number etc, I promise you, I will ship it to you. Wheels: Rims show some pebble marks or oxidization. I don't know how to get them perfect, I'm sure there's a way. Discs have a little yellow as I had all new brakes installed, and then moved. I only drove car for 5 miles per week, for 6months, to keep it running excellent, I brought it in to be looked at, and they said the yellow discoloration will disappear if you drive more, because you will use the brakes which will rub the color right off. Tires: Nitto Invo (high end), excellent! There is no TPMS sensors, and I do not have original rims. My handyman from my home made off with the rims on the last payday. they are 300-400 for all 4 sensors installed. I'm my opinion these $4000 wheels are much better than the stock. Interior: All plastics are very good, headliner is mint, glass is mint, dash is mint, gauges are mint. In some areas, on the plastics, there are scratches (light) which can easily be painted or replaced. The drivers side seat took a beating from a coat i had with strange buttons. Every single time I told myself "If you're going to wear this, don't take the Mustang". And every time I sat down in that car with that coat I cursed up a storm. You can see the scratches in photo, there are no rips, and all other seating is excellent. Floors/carpets are excellent. I don't have the stickers from the window when new, but all books etc are included as well as the 2 key fobs, and Kenwood new deck box. I don't think I missed anything else. This is a long post as I am trying to be as transpararent as possible. Good luck to you. Ive had 3 mustangs so far, I love them, its just, there's a time to have these toys, and there's another time to replace these toys with newer (or older) interests. I have excellent feedback and have bought 2 cars on here and sold two, I am happy to answer any questions you have.
