This is a nice running clean condition Porsche Boxster. 2.5L, 5 speed. Silver over black. I'm the second owner. 137,XXX miles. First owner took her to 124,000 miles and did routine 60 and 120k mile service. My Porsche indy did a PPI and found the previous owner changed the water pump. Ran for codes and came up clean too. First the bad for a change: Not known if the IMS has been updated. Oil changes have been fine with no issues. Runs strong thru all the gears and sounds perfectly fine. AC does not cool. Never bothered to address. Compressor runs and cycles, just no cold air. The top rear plastic window has seen better days and the top can be finicky on cold days going down. Something in the switch I've been told. Motor is fine..just something in the switch. Warm out no issues with the top at all. Previous owner must have had a fender bender or some such because one headlight is really new. Does not show on the Carfax..must have been minor. The good: Many important parts have been replaced for those of you who know these cars. All the following has been done over the last 10k miles. Number one, I ditched the old seats for 911 seats, both powered. (not heated though). They look and feel brand new. previous owner stripped them from his 911 for racing seats. Less than 5,000 miles on them. I had the AOS, MAF and coolant tank all replaced (new coolant). Age got those 3. The serpentine belt is changed. The radio/CD player is newer. The old just stopped working. New battery, new tires all around - Michelin Pilots. I replaced the RR taillight, had a crack. New steering wheel/Air bag. I just liked style this over the original. New bilsteins all 4 corners. All spark plugs and seals changed. Rear sway bar bushings replaced. New horns up front. New dash speakers. New floor mats. New shift boot and base. 4 new lift struts for trunk and frunk. Air filter/cabin filter changed. I removed the front bumper and cleaned the radiators and changed out those horns while I was in there. I have one functional key remote. one key no electronic insides. Still opens the door. Original Manual, some receipts, good spare and jack/tools. The old black "boxster" lettering for the trunk.I removed it for clean look. I also have a nice large framed picture of the boxster I found online. Same silver color, black interior and wheels... was hanging in my office. BTW- reason for selling: I purchased a 2008 boxster. So there you have it. This is a good running sports car that still turns heads. Normal wear and tear. Paint pretty good. Underside good, no leaks. RMS good. Great intro to Porsche brand! Have fun on the cheap!
