1982 Honda CBX-1000 Super Sport. 6-cylinder/ 24- valve collector bike. Unmolested, this bike is all original with perhaps the exception of the thumb operated cruise control. Bike is in very good condition, with minor cosmetic issues such as front fender paint/stripe issue, rear fender cowling paint missing from a line where luggage was strapped to the cowling, and missing round black plastic disk (one of two), that should reside just above the instrument cluster, on the back side of the fairing. Carbureator pilot (idle) circuits on the bike need cleaned, it starts and runs at 1/3-1/2 choke, runs really well at 1/3 to WFO throttle, smooth as a sewing machine. Idle with choke off a little lumpy/inconsistent. All running gear, chain and sprockets, clutch, transmission, and brakes operate as they should. Rear tire in good condition, front tire is serviceable with less tread. Overall a great piece of Honda moto-history. Being a collector bike, there is a healthy reserve in place.
