Vehicle Detail
I am the second owner of this terrific condition 1985 Jaguar. Both the original owner and I live in Wisconsin and we both stored it away every winter and would never take it out in good weather if there was any forecast of rain. I am unable to find any body rust. Everything is original. Driven an average of 2,500 miles per year over its life span, this baby currently has only 81,260 miles! The original black paint looks like new and shines like museum quality onyx. The un-pitted chrome flashes against that stunning black making you think you might be looking at a presidential limo. There is not a day that I take it out that I don’t get a compliment from people I don’t know. People are intrigued by the dual gas tanks. But, hey…it’s a 32 year old car. So, close up, around the windshield and on the front hood, you can find small spider web cracking. Driver and passenger seat leather is crackled, but not sliced. Other leather is in good shape. The burled wood dashboard has no cracks and just a miniscule, almost invisible, buckle that you can see only when you get the light just right on it. Radio does not work. Sunroof switch just started sticking. Sunroof works, you just might need to flip the switch a couple times to get it to go. I always had it serviced immediately if I heard a noise or smelled something that was not right. She runs smooth and quiet. Includes car cover. Some Maintenance:2008: Purchase, new radiator, valve cover gasket 2010: Cruise Control Check, A/C work, Ball Joints, Outer Tie Rod End, Replace Belts, Replace A/C Compressor, CAT Converter and Pipe Assembly 2011: Front Shocks, Front Sway Bar and Bushings, Clean Brakes, New Starter 2013: Climate Control Amp, Steering Gear and Mounting Bushings, Wheel Alignment, Recharge A/C, Brake Master Cylinder, Bleed System, Starter, Wiper Blades 2015: Engine Oil Cooler Hoses, Battery, Gas Transfer Switch, Rear Brakes 2016: Fuel Gauge, Speed Sensor, Flush Transmission 2017: Transmission Pan GasketView full photo gallery on Flickr at: https://flic.kr/s/aHsm6Py7tR
