Up for sale is most likely the most well kept and clean E500 in the Northeast US. It's a beautiful 2004 E500 in a color that you don't ever see, Everest Green Metallic. This car was originally just shy of a $70,000 sticker price back in 2004. This does include the M113 5.0 liter V8, which puts out a generous 302 Horsepower and 340 feet pound of torque that go through all four wheels for some serious acceleration when you need it. Some of the features it includes are:-Heated seats-Heated steering wheel-Automatic climate control-Airmatic Air suspension with three different height settings and an extra "raised" feature that raises the vehicle for additional clearance in deep snow-4Matic all wheel drive system-Third row seating-Headlight washers-HID headlights-Harmon Kardon sound system (I've had HK systems in my BMWs but it sounds so much better in this E500)-Rear HVAC Climate control for passengers-6 disc integrated CD changer AND AUX input -Power driver AND passenger seat WITH lumbar support-Integrated cargo cover and pet barrier( Fully functional! Which is huge because this piece is ONLY available through OEM and it's over $600, how I know is my E90 BMW wagon didn't come with one, and I had to price it out. Needless to say, I didn't purchase it)-Digital speedometer layout-Passenger side mirror dips to help parallel park-Power sunroof-Even comes with the OEM first aid kit!Recent maintenance are as follows:Battery 2015Front air struts 2015 (common problem on this generation of W211 E500s)Spark plugs and wires 2015Lower and Upper control arms 2014Oil changed last month, have driven 300 miles since thenAC was recharged 1000 miles ago, blows ice coldThermostat and Drive belt replaced in 2014New Pirellis also in 2014, have slightly under 8000 miles on them so far. The SBC (Sensotronic Brake Control) pump was replaced under Mercedes Benz warranty that they extended out specifically for it at 80k miles. Both driver and passenger side motor mounts were replaced at 95k miles, another common problem. The E-Class is the equivalent to a BMW 5 series, and it shows it. There is so much room in the passenger area it's ridiculous. I'm 6 foot and can easily stretch out. This thing is a beauty. But with beauty and PA weather and traffic, comes some flaws. The hood has salt chips on it, they show silver as the hood and many other panels on the E500 are aluminum. Couple of scratches on rear bumper from loading and unloading things through the years. Odd damage on front passenger seat (can't see it when sitting in it). The "head" knob for the power headrest on the passenger side has broken off, easy thing to replace, it just pops on. I've been unable to find a parts diagram though to order it. Steering wheel is faded, a decent dye would bring it back to new easily. Wheels do have some curbage damage but do still shine like new. Do take into consideration this vehicle has been in the Pittsburgh area for 13 years. Clean and clear title waiting for the new owner to appreciate this German beauty.
