Vehicle Detail
What you’re looking at is a 69 Charger with extremely good bones. Originally a 383 console auto shift, now a 71’ 440, 4bbl, 4 speed with a 3.54 rear end. The frame rails are rust free, RUST FREE! Car has never been hit and all panels still fit perfectly with hardly any filler. Firewall, inner wheel wells, inner fender wells have zero rust. Window channels front and rear look great, bottoms of doors are perfect. Glass is all good and rolls up and down. Front glass is cracked. Minor rust bubbling low on rear quarters and rear valence. No dings or dents in bumpers. Original headliner that’s never been removed. Tail lights have no cracks. You can see in the photos that someone got a little heavy handed when installing the 4 speed. Definitely going to need floor pan and trunk pan. Rear floor pan not real but, just surface rust. The car has not run since 2008 but was previously a daily driver. Dash is not real bad as far as the gauge cluster area, pad needs replaced. Console is MIA. Lower dash very nice condition as well as the glove box door. Doors, hood and trunk close nicely with the thud of good American steel. All window trim in great shape. I’ve seen so many of these with the frame rails that are toast. With this car you will have a leg up by not having to work the frame. Most definitely a diamond in the rough. All the way down the sides of this car are pretty much arrow straight and it still has the original fuel cap. Quarters don’t need replaced, no rust in inner fenders or frame rails. Original dark metallic green with green vinyl top. VIN#XP29G9B164709 Fender tag codes: R11, V1F, J25, L31, M21, C16, G15, D56, E61, M25, M31, A01, A04, B51, C55. I have the following items that go with the car: all new weatherstripping for trunk, doors, roof rail, etc. New door panels front and rear (black) with Charger emblems. Or upper for the rear. All new window fuzzies. Box of wiring (old) to include new rear lamp harness and backup lamp harness. Some of the wiring under the dash is new. Wing window rubbers and window fuzzy plugs as well as some various bearings. Wheel cylinder and some misc parts, gaskets, etc. Thanks for looking and good luck. Buyer responsible for shipping. Sold in as-is condition, no warranty written or otherwise. Clean Idaho title. $5,000 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of close of auction. So a bit confused but it is an RB block which most likely still has the forged steel crank. Thanks for looking and good luck. Buyer responsible for shipping. The code on the engine pad reads F 440 11 4. So it's a 70' year 440 built Nov 4th of 69. And as for the door panels there is typo, I just have the lower portions front and rear which are new.
