A very nice antique 1973 VW Super Beetle, 1585 cc engine, 4 speed manual transmission! Bought this for my high school son 3 years ago. He has been away in college and no longer needs a car. My son has been reluctant to sell this car because it is his baby! As Beetles of this vintage go, this is a great find. It has 65,037 original miles! Bought it from a local guy who acquired it in a trade for some kitchen work. Had been in a garage for several years. Ran it through a local garage/mechanic. We put new tires on it, new battery, new clutch and had it tuned up. There are a few things that need replaced for a collector or someone wanting a daily driver. 1.) needs a new exhaust system. Muffler is OK, but exhaust/tailpipes is now missing. 2.) driver running board is bent in slightly 3.) driver seat and back seat vinyl is torn 4.) some scratches here and there 5.) dash is cracked Runs great! Starts up with no problem (even after sitting for a few weeks). This is a great little ride and won't last long.
