1960 BMW military clone

750cc sidehack motorcycle. About 2500 km (1800 miles) on it, excellent condition. These bikes have a very interesting history: in 1938 BMW created this design for the German Wehrmacht, just before WWII. After the war, the occupying Soviets took the tooling and dies to Russia to create their own heavy military motorcycle. In 1956, they handed this tooling to the People's Liberation Army of China, who built their own version. This one has the newer overhead valve design. It has several upgrades such as deeper aftermarket oil sump, highway final gears, saddle bag, sidecar cover, extended sidecar that seats two, windshields for sidecar and bike, rear passenger saddle and sidecar brake. Electric and kick start. Seats a total of four passengers. Along with the bike I have a ton of spare parts like wheels, brakes, cables, switches, points, exhaust, coil, seals, gaskets etc. Simple to import as it's older than 25 years so EPA and DOT regs don't apply. On Jul-21-17 at 08:58:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a head's up, some knucklehead in a parking lot dinged the gas tank the other day. It now has a small ding in it. Nothing dramatic but I can't say "like new" anymore. Frustrating but that's how it goes. I've dropped the reserve price accordingly.
