This 1971 911T Porsche was owned in Vail Colorado. Suffered front end collision in Sept 2001 Colorado Salvage Title was issued in Oct 2001 Title allows completion if vehicle is Restored. This is a very desirable 911T in original paint color. As the photos show the car had a front end collision. Uni-body appears OK from shock towers back. I purchased with intent to completely redo- - -I am just to busy to do it!! Note damage to rear jam of drivers door and behind in the quarter panel. Has the desireable 2.2L with dual Weber Carbs and the "4" Fuchs 14" Wheels. Motor turns over freely. Tangerine with Black Guts. Car has been stored inside last few years, but initially was under tarp in yard. These 911T's from the 70's are hotter than a firecracker on desirablility. The tool kit as pictured is included with the car. Car can be loaded on trailer- -but not under own power. Tires hold air. Ownership history is known and will be provided Plates in photo are NOT included!! This is a GREAT candidate for restoration as completed prices are well above 100K these days. The engine # is *6115241*. This is taken from a vertical casting leg just to right of fan housing on the block. Please see the last photo for a shot of this number. On Jul-19-17 at 13:30:05 PDT, seller added the following information: July 19th Information on Engine Update: The engine number has been decoded by a knowledgeable Porsche person with the following comment to the question- - is this a correct 71 911T motor #?: "Yes, that is correct. It also indicates that it is the original "T" engine that came with the car when new, and that it did come with the Weber carbs from the factory instead of the Solex ones, which was the other option. The car and engine were produced in mid-year 1971." Thanks for the information Bob On Jul-22-17 at 07:59:11 PDT, seller added the following information: July 22 Revision on Engine #'s. While it is believed by the Engine# and production date of the car that they are original to each other- -without further documentation I can NOT prove they came together. But it would appear they did. There is no question this is a 71 "T" engine and is correct for the production time frame. Please bear this in mind when bidding.
