NO RESERVE NO RESERVE This the Imperial was my dads pride and joy. He purchased the car in 2000 based off of the following ad. This 1968 is a tremendous example of one of only 474 produced in this last year for the Imperial convertible. She was a very nice rust free car that underwent a full cosmetic restoration in 2000. Paint is new, all chrome was removed, cleaned , polished and replated as necessary. Interior is excellent original leather , carpets have been replaced and custom floormats made to match, bronze dash trim was all redone and contrasts beautifully against the bright red metallic interior Exterior was redone in the correct Military blue metallic, This original color combination is very unique and works beautifully together. Other items rebuilt or replaced tires , brake system (complete including hoses), AC system, window motors ect. The engine compartment was completely detailed and many other minor details were done with the intention of keeping the car forever. The original top is in good condition , but should be replaced to be of the same caliber as the rest of the car. She is well equipped , including all power assists, reclining seat, optional "Dual 440" engine package, climate control A/C , AM FM radio power windows and vents. This is how my dad bought the car. As you can see he maintained her extremely well. The car has been kept in a climate controlled garage in Pennsylvania until my mom shipped to me in southern California to sell. The top was replaced by my father and functions properly. All six power windows work as does the power seat. The AC does not work. The lights all work but the switch feels loose I replaced the original Holley carburetor with a new Edelbrock with intentions of rebuilding it, The original carb will be included with the car. The car seem to drive fine. I have not had it out on the freeway but she drove great around town. The total amount due must be paid within 7 days or the vehicle will be relisted. Acceptable payment methods are Cashiers Check or Wire Transfer. Only the Deposit is payable through Paypal. When we receive payment, we will send the title immediately. When you come to pick up the vehicle, if you feel that it was misrepresented, you do not need to buy it. All we ask is that you pay us $50 to relist the vehicle. We feel that is very reasonable, and it is very important to us that the winning bidder is satisfied with the vehicle. This car is being offered for sale locally. We reserve the right to end the auction early due to sale. We try to represent our vehicles as accurately as possible. We provide many pictures to give you a good view of the vehicle.
