1966 Impala SS 2 door hardtop If you are looking for a fun car to drive then look no further! It sounds great, is super fun to drive through town and will definitely turn heads. This car is an original SS. It has been in my family for almost 30 years. The Good The engine is a 406 Stroker with Holly aluminum heads. It has 2:10 valves, solid roller rocker cam, Edelbrock intake and carb, custom headers with 3-inch Flowmaster, aluminum racing radiator, oval track power steering. The transmission is a Turbo 400 3 speed with a 2500 stall and a 4:11 posi rearend. The front brake cylinders were just replaced. This car has always started for me and has never left me on the side of the road. The Bad The car does have some scratches in the paint, mainly on the trunk lid. The windshield is cracked and will need replaced. Interior will need finishing touches. It is missing a couple pieces of chrome. I have just under $18,000 in receipts. I also have pictures (on a hard disk) of the entire restoration. I love this car but have started a new job and will not be around to drive it and it is too nice to just sit.
