Lexus IS302 Link To Video Walk Around, Running, Light Launch, Drifting, Etc... https://www.garageyourself.com/ Up for sale is a great drift/drag project, 95% complete. Base is a 2001 rebuilt title Lexus IS300, the damage was on the front and rear, most of which is now simply gone J We built this with the help and support of friends at Garage Yourself in Miami. The IS302 driveline: 55k miles, 1987 small block ford 302 from a 1986 mustang GT convertible (Super clean car, only pulled to swap in a Coyote engine). Engine is 100% stock, except ARP head studs, Cometic MLS head gaskets and a revers rotation water pump. All other engine gaskets and distributor parts are new as well. Twin super 60 turbos (.48 A/R hot side, .60 A/R cold side, quick spool and plenty of flow! ) on flipped stock manifolds. The whole package fits very well, and engine/trans removal is a breeze. Whole engine out in about 30 minutes. Engine’s electrical harness is a break away, so two large harness clips and harness comes out with motor. Cross-member was cut down to fit the engine then highly reinforced, both the trans mount and engine are very solid. Engine is 100% stock except the oil pan, which is baffled and enlarged (Holds 2+ gallons of oil now). Engine is running Megasquirt stand alone engine management. It is base tuned and NEEDS TO BE TUNED. At only 6-7 psi she puts 290hp/370 tq to the wheel. With a set of explorer heads/intake this is easily 500hp set up (already has plenty of injector). Stock, rebuilt 1967 Ford C4 Transmission with TCI reverse manual valve body and Hurst sequential shifter (If you are not familiar that, it is a 3 speed that is modified for manual/sequential shifting. No lift shifting = turbos are always spooled! In video you can see/hear it shift 1st, 2nd, 3rd sequentially with no lift. (Has a small leak, but I also overfilled it a bit. May go away with the proper level). Car is a 2000 IS300, rebuilt title. Mad Max style front bumper, dash is gorgeous, refinished in pearl white, seats and carpet are a bit rough and the trunk is sheet metal (Needs finishing touches and have the carpet cut into fit if you want it). Has a 3.92/1 rear end with an LSD, car is ideally geared for 1/8 mile drag and drifting. Car’s sunroof is stuck in the up position and the headlights do not work. New aluminum radiator has been relocated to the rear. 18” Rays United Arrow wheels, they look decent but are a little beat up, front tires are good, rear tires will likely be burnt just about off by the time you read this. May have some extras to go with it. 28” Mickey Thompson slicks on ultra light drag wheels (May be welds, unsure) ARE INCLUDED, Side skirts, a bit beat up, but look good on the car (Come not installed on the car) Has IS300 wagons shocks/springs (To fit the 28” slicks) will comes with Tein drop springs on stock shocks as well.
