1955 Chevy big window, short bed, 3100 series pickup. 95%+ original. California built. Mileage unknown/can't validate but shows about 24,000. Spent most all it's life in the Arizona desert. Rebuilt original 265 c.i. V8, 3-sp manual. Almost all repairs done with OEM, original, new old stock parts. Every knob, switch, button, gauge works perfectly. Original brake drums still riveted to ft. hubs, never turned, perfect. Steering linkage appears all original with zero play. Drive anywhere, runs like new. Gear ratio changed to 3.38 for highway driving. Even has the original radio (never repaired) still works, a bit weak but functional. Original bed wood. Super solid. The dark spots in the pics are dirt or the original tar type undercoating, paint still shines underneath. Sheet metal in pristine, original condition. Apparently was repainted once but much has worn through to the original paint. All glass except big back glass fairly new, perfect condition, not OEM (original was badly bubbled or cracked). Bumpers/ hubcaps also replaced (have original front). Extra/spare parts and quite a bit of paperwork also included. Must see to appreciate. I would guess none other exist on market this original and functional. NADA states $32K in good condition, $71K in excellent. (no adds for the V-8, Big window, radio, deluxe heater, fuse box or other original options) This truck is much better than "good" no doubt. Clear, no lien title in name of owner held. Unforeseen events, thanks.On Jun-19-17 at 06:20:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Added info for questions asked: All brakes including all hydraulics, hoses, cylinders replaced (very little mileage, drums never turned, are excellent) as well as new clutch complete, tires including spare, NOS vacuum advance, rebuilt generator, rebuilt original carb., NOS voltage regulator, NOS light switch, NOS Delco fuel pump,....this truck is mechanically near perfect and ready to drive anywhere. All numbers match, VIN plate matches frame (clean & crisp numbers) all known date codes match and all major components appear original. Radiator & core (date code matches truck, Nov 55) appears original and cores clean and clear (amazing). No rot or rust inside doors, windshield mount lip as new, pristine. Anyone that has seen has been impressed and state pics do not do justice.
