You are viewing our 2004 Cadillac XLR hard top convertible roadster. If you are looking at this you already know how awesome and rare these cars are. Basically this is a re-bodied Corvette. My husband and I are private car collectors that have decided to thin down our collection to fund other interests. This is a 3 owner car that we purchased in November of 2013 with 145K miles on it, the 1st owner had it most of its life and the seller we purchased the car from only owned it for 9 months. The car is a stunning looker, like a stealth fighter and has the power to back it up with its sinister looks. We get compliments all the time. This car has ALWAYS been garaged and NEVER driven in the rain since we have owned it and as far as we can tell it has never been smoked in. Of course with the mileage there are a few minor stone chips and a little scuff on the front bumper, but that is about it (can be repainted for about $500, but we choose to leave it factory original). The rest of the car is stunning. The paint condition is gorgeous, and the dark charcoal grey is a rarer color that you don't see very often. It's truly beautiful. The car has never been in any kind of accident and all the paintwork is factory original. The tires are in great shape. The brakes are great. The car drives and handles fantastic. The power folding hard top is a pure engineering work of art, and we love watching it fold in it's origami like fashion every time we operate it. The interior of the car is very clean and like new. The drivers seat bottom leather has been replaced since we purchased it. The car has every option imaginable, and one of the coolest features is the Adaptive Cruise Control, which uses radar to keep a set distance between you and the cars in front of you. It will slow the car down on its own if someone gets in front of you and once cleared, will take you back up to your original set speed, it will even bring the car to a complete stop if necessary! Truly a great and handy option! Another nice option is the Heads Up Display, reflecting your speed, cruise control info, etc all on the windshield in front of you so you don't have to look down. We love that option. Another handy item is the Back Up Warning Indicators, letting you know if you are too close to something behind you as you put the car in reverse. The BOSE stereo with in-dash multi disc CD changer is absolutely the best we have ever heard! With the top up or down it is crystal clear. Factory Navigation works perfectly. ALL manuals from Cadillac come with the car on how to operate various systems, as well as both remotes and valet key. The car has a key-less start feature where you simply need to have the key in your pocket to unlock the doors by touching the concealed button in the door handle, and a key-less push button start as well. Pretty cool. The car has highway mileage as it was executive owned and traveled a good distance daily for the first 9 years of its life. Don't let the miles fool you. It has always been dealer maintained. You would think the car has 1/4 the miles by the way it runs and drives. We did replace both headlights ($900 each due to to melted lens in the originals) and also replaced both tail lights ($700 each due to 3 of the LED lights were burnt out and the entire light needed to be replaced to have all LEDs illuminate). Shocks and struts are new (replaced late summer 2016). The airbag light does come on periodically due to a pinched wire under the drivers seat per the previous owner, we have had this looked at and the dealership cannot find any problems. This is a quality, super rare car that will give you years and many miles of enjoyment. It is stunning to look at, fun to drive, and you'll never pull up beside another one at the red light. The car has always been dealer maintained. Again my husband and I are private collectors so all sales are final and no warranties are expressed or implied. Please!! by then we lost the other high bidders because they found something else and we were back to square one. So because of this we require a $500 Non refundable deposit immediately following the end of the auction through Pay Pal. We will send you an invoice. We also REQUIRE full payment within 3, Yes 3 business days after the auction ends, preferably bank wire. This means you will need to have the funds available, not try to get a loan after winning. So, to be clear...the auction ends on a Saturday. You MUST pay us for the car no later than the following Wednesday. PERIOD. The car does not need to be picked up or shipped by then, just paid for. We have had bad experiences in the past with people "winning" and not paying so that is why we have this policy now. You are responsible for shipping or picking it up. If you cannot or do not agree with our terms, or even THINK this won't work for you...do us all a favor and DO NOT BID. Have your funds clear and available PRIOR to bidding. Make sure your wife, mother, boss, priest etc gives you the okay to buy this BEFORE you bid. If you have less than 10 feedback, you must contact us prior to bidding or your bid will be cancelled. We have no problem accepting bids from people with lower scores, we just want to make sure of your sincerity in the bidding process.
