This auction is for a 2001 Dodge Viper RT/10. Simply put, you will not find a better example. This car has 15,200 original miles and drives like it is a brand new vehicle off the lot. Check the pictures carefully- they speak for themselves. This red Viper has the upgraded cognac interior making it one of the most desirable models available. This is an unmolested vehicle that starts, drives, shifts, and stops like it is brand new. No shade tree mechanics have ever touched this car. This vehicle is bone-stock and puts out the factory 450hp and 490lb-ft of torque. I have owned this car for six years and have a clear title in my name. It has been garage-kept and covered its entire life. I have added a few upgrades along the way. I added the optional hardtop that makes this car drivable year-round. I am including the factory soft top that has only been installed a few times. I also added the spoiler as well. I have an aftermarket shifter installed, but will include the factory cognac shifter (it takes ten minutes and two wrenches to swap them back). Finally, I upgraded the stereo to a modern Pioneer unit. All told, these upgrades were close to $2,500. The paint is excellent. That said, there are a few scratches along the bottom of the front air dam that have been touched up. They are hardly noticeable, but I want to be completely honest. I'm sure there are a few marks here and there, but I'd rate the paint close to 10 out of 10. The cognac interior is the best you'll find. 10 out of 10. Mechanically perfect. The only issue I've had concerns the air conditioning. It will hold a charge for only a short time before blowing warm again. This is a very common Viper issue that I was never concerned enough to fix. This is the nicest 2nd generation Dodge Viper you will find.
