This is an exceptionally solid 1983 Ford long bed truck. I checked it over pretty good and found no rust except for light surface rust with no pitting or holes that I could find. I found no damage or repair work done to this truck either. I am told the topper was put on the bed when it was new and has always been on the truck. The bed looks like it was only used for light hauling as there are no dents or damage nor is there any on the tail gate. The interior looks good except for one small place in the side of the seat just below the driver. The guy I got it from went through the engine and said he had to replace two pistons and I am not sure if he did a valve job while he had it apart or not. He also rebuilt the transmission and put the shifting lever in upside down so it has to be taken back out and turned over before linkage can be hooked up. They may be all it needs to make it drivable but I don't even have time to do that so I am letting it go cheap. The truck is dirty from sitting under trees but you would have to look long and hard to find one this solid. The opening bid is my reserve so bid to win.
