I bought this 1963 Chev C10 about 6 months ago. I believe I bought it from the second owner, who converted it from a 6 Cylinder, 3 speed on the column to a 1963 283 V8, 4bbl, 350 automatic. He also installed a nice custom aluminum radiator, new fuel pump, the Silverado wheels, and power steering. It has headers and a fairly new exhaust system- it sounds good, not too loud. I installed the new rear gas tank, a new windshield, rear lights, headlights, engine tune up, oil and filter (still has the old style filter) front wheel cylinders and brake lines, wipers and a few other things. I have patch panels for the doors and fenders, just haven't been able to get that far with it. They come with it. The truck runs well, the engine has good power and doesn't make unusual noises. The trans shifts like it should. The brakes are the original drums, and work okay. All the gauges work. The truck is drive-able, but needs a new set of tires. I have wrestled with what wheels to install, along with the bed, and think I will leave it up to the next owner. There is a picture of floor rot in the passenger side of the cab, it is all I have seen. The heater/defrost works, wipers, turn signals, brake lights all work. It is registered, insured and tagged in Georgia. It will be able to be titled in any other state. It is 54 years old, and no warranty applies of any kind.
