You might recognize this Camaro from one of the multiple magazines and websites this build was featured in. Best known as the "Thrasher Camaro". Google "Thrasher Camaro" and see all the link from superchevy.com and follow the build. The body on this Camaro is laser straight and extremely solid. The red paint was expertly applied and looks like glass!! The 406 ci, Chevrolet Performance engine has been built for performance and a fuel injection system makes it much more reliable. A Borg Warner T56, 6 speed transmission was employed for both track performance and streetability. A Currie 9 inch rear can handle just about as much torque as you can feed it. Exhaust fumes are extracted via Hedman Husler Hedders, stainless exhaust and Borla mufflers. What an exhaust note this Camaro puts out. 18" BBS Wheels wrapped in Michelins give the car much needed traction and better cornering ability. The suspension has been lowered and a front swar bar installed and feels much more modern and solid. Huge, Baer Brakes get the car stopped very quickly when needed. The interior features custom Auto Meter gauges and Red and Black, Recaro race buckets in the front, with a small roll cage behind the front seats.
