The bike is the oldest bike to do the IBA Bun Burner Gold ride (1500 miles in 24 hours) *at least as of the date that I did the ride. Bike is in excellent condition. Description of the bike and items included with the sale include the following: 1. 1971 R/75 - SWB converted to LWB in the late 90's. 2. All frame parts powder coated. 3. The original R/75 motor was replaced with a 1978 R100S motor in the early 2000's. The new motor has approximately 75k miles on it. The "S" motor has 40mm Bing carbs and 40mm exhaust valves. 4. 5 speed transmission w/kick start. The transmission was completely rebuilt, with new parts and seals, in 2014 by Blaise Descollonges (San Francesco area) at a cost of $1500.00 plus $150+ in shipping. 5. 33/11 rear end ration from a R/90S; slightly higher gearing for lower highway rpm. 6. Rear end splines in good shape and the female spline carrier on the rear wheel was replaced in 2012. 7. Crash bars, powder coated 8. Ride-Off center stand 9. Brown side stand 10. The wheels have been re-laced with stainless spokes 11. Corbin leather seat with rain cover & beaded seat cover 12. Body parts were custom painted and pinstriped in 1990 and are in good condition (some wear on the fenders) 13. Gas tank was treated for internal rust and coated. No rust at all in the tank today. 14 Hepco Becker bags in good condition. 15.
