This a NO RESERVE auction. The truck WILL sell to the highest bidder Sunday night 8:13pm mountain time, 11:15 eastern time. Please bid with confidence that DVW is a legitimate business with 100% ebay reputation. Over the years DVW has had several shop trucks We rebuild. That is part of the fun. The truck is documented with 40+ photos and a detailed description of almost all that has been done, and what needs work. If you have any questions please ask. The Chevy starts up with a pump and idles and runs great. It accelerates smooth shifts smooth and firm. It has a very tight firm ride as well. A lot has been done to the drivetrain/chassis on this truck to make it a daily driver. This is the DVW shop truck project. It has been used for driving around getting old wheels and parts for projects. The truck still needs work to be a comfortable daily driver and is being sold beore being finished simply to help pay for a new shop location.The work needed is mostly cosmetic and simple task stuff. the chassis/engine is done. The truck was sought out by DVW because it is an original Arizona valley truck, has no rust (just patina as they call it nowadays). A blow out bent the metal over and it was fixed probably 25/30 years ago and then another blow out bent it again and cracked up the filler probly 10/15 years ago. see the photo of the paint side and the back of the panel. Title is clean and clear. A lot has been done to the truck, and will need a few more things to make a it a comfortable daily driver still, DVW is only selling before fixing everything in order to get into a new building. The custom vintage wheels and new tires are not included in this auction.. The set is a $1750 package. 1975 Permacast slot mags and New Cooper tires. The truck will be sold with the original rally wheels (can be seen in the bed of the truck in one photo). The wheels have new 275/60 tires in the rear and 235/60 tires in the front. they have less than 100 miles on them (will update a photo of it with these wheels shortly). If you like the old slots DVW has, they can be worked into a good deal after the auction ends. Parts of restoration/resurrection completed:(New parts):polyeurathane control arm bushings, shocks, dual exhaust with new converters to pass emisions - this truck does not smoke or stick. It is a strong healthy motor. No ticks or tocks or knocks or funny business. The Heads are rebuilt, short block has been ringed/honed & bearing/oil pump timing chain, ect, carb rebuilt, water pump,4 core HD radiator, hoses, belts, plugs wires cap rotor, battery & cables, starter. Body/cab mounts, (rubber - not the metal - metal is all rust free), pads and rotors, drums and shoes, front lower bumper valance. A lot of other parts have been maintained but these are the new ones. The truck was basically stored about 10 years ago, and all this done in the last year to bring it back to life and get it on the road. Needs/issues: Brake light is on/pedal is low. master cylinder maybe or rear drums adjusted properly. The driver front caliper will lock up a little if it is left to sit for a long time. Durring daily driving it never had any issue. only after being stored for a couple months. trans linkage is out of lighnment/bent and will not shift into park, Speedometer is disconnected. gauges not all working. Trans leaks from the dipstick tube seal. no radio and heat and a/c needs to be connected. (no hoses installed) lost the door key. dash pad is cracked - interior is so so - see pics and judge yourself - its average Arizona condition for these. needs the lmc treatment. It is currently located in Tempe Arizona. I have used a company called Parker Transport in Chandler Arizona for shipping, they are fast and only book reputable shippers and they pick them up fast and get them delivered fast. I do not want to imply that the entire chassis is rebuilt. I believe the springs are original and everything has been maintain as far as ball joints/tierods/bushings/ ect. Note that the shifter handle is removed. On May-20-17 at 11:37:13 PDT, seller added the following information: The last photo uploaded of the truck was taken today, Saturday, the day before the auction ends. The truck started on 1 pump of the gas pedal and let it warm up and drove around the lot to make sure all is good. I noticed I did not mention that there are no wiper blades - I removed the old dried out ones. A local painter/car guy came out and looked at it. he believed the paint is original without a doubt, except the driver rear quarter where it was repainted due to a blow out that bent the quarter panel in.
