1972 Honda CB 750 in Ruby Red For auction is this incredible bad to the bone 1972 CB750. It's titled as a 1973 as that is the year it was sold but as you can clearly see by the VIN tag, it is definitely a 1972. This bike starts at just the touch of the button and goes through the gears with no issues. Brakes are good, clutch is good and smooth with no basket rattle, tires are like new, and it runs perfect! Someone removed the baffles so it is louder than average but it sounds like a monster! Throttle response is instant as well as its instant return to idle, meaning, the carbs are synced perfectly. The mileage shown on the speedometer may or may not be actual. All I can tell you is it runs like new and the title does not have the miles listed. Not sure, but it may have been repainted at some point as well but the Ruby Red paint looks incredible with only a minor scratch in the stripe on the brake side of the tank. There are no dents,dings, or rust in the tank. One of the pipes was professionally brazed at some point but it's barely noticeable even in person as its on the inside of the top pipe on the brake side (see pics). All electronics work as they should and I will install a new battery for the new owner. It does have a small drip around the valve cover gasket when you run it for a while. I know of no other mechanical issues. Take a look at the photos and bid with confidence that you will get the bike you see here as advertised for a VERY reasonable reserve. I set the reserve low in comparison to others I see on here due to the issues listed. Again, please don't ask me what the reserve is as its unfair to other bidders.
