Vehicle Detail
Selling my very clean 1965 Honda CA200 (also sometimes called C200) 90cc. The bike is 100% original to the best of my knowledge down to the seat cover. The bike has been impeccably maintained through the majority of its life by a retired Honda mechanic. Since owning it, it has a recent battery (last spring), I have gone through the electric system on the bike, new bulbs, etc. New tires still have the little spikes on them. Just cleaned the carb, installed new spark plug, and adjusted the points. The bike almost always starts first kick, and the 90cc pushrod engine runs extremely quietly, probably even more so than the later small OHC hondas. The transmission shifts smoothly, 4-3-2-1-N shift pattern with manual clutch. Brakes work and suspension does it's job. Max speed seems to be about 55mph, and fuel consumption is very low. The bike does not leak a drop of oil or fuel, even with the fuel supply left on. How many vintage bikes can say that? See here a short video of it running. https://youtu.be/AB93Awywilo Cosmetically, the bike is in original condition. The seat cover and paint are untouched, and there is some patina on the paint (see pictures) but nothing that detracts from the bike overall. The chrome is shiny, with very occasional signs of pitting or rust, as would be expected from a 50+ year old bike. The paint on the engine is in great shape. The tank emblems and rubber guards are in great shape. Plastic parts such as the front fender are in great condition without structural cracks, heavy scratching or damage. The only part which shows heavy corrosion/wear is the shift lever (see pictures). It is clear that this machine spent most of it's life parked, and has not been outside or in the rain. The bike was originally sold without mirrors, but I will include in the sale some aftermarket mirrors that I got with the bike. The bike has no title, as it is old enough not to be issued one in my state, but I will give a current valid registration signed over to you the buyer, as well as some original documentation I have from when the bike was purchased from the dealer (Has buyers name, dealer, date... probably the closest thing to a title on a bike this old!), as well as a service manual for the bike. Will include 1965 license plate in pictures if the sale goes over $1300 and the buyer wants it. No Reserve! Buyer is responsible for $300 deposit within 48hrs of sale as well as shipping. I will do what I can to assist the shipper, but coordination is your responsibility. The bike is located in southern NH. Final payment is due before the bike leaves my property in cash or through PayPal (you pay PayPal fees if paying this way). Bike will be sold as is, no warranty given, not my responsibility if the shipper ruins it.
