This is a really cool looking R65 with a color-matched Luftmeister fairing and lowers, factory BMW hard bags in gorgeous condition, Cobra stainless mufflers, and Reynolds ride-off center stand and side stand. It's an older restoration and the finishes on the bike are a mix of original and nicely redone but showing some use. We just performed a service on the bike including a new battery and fresh engine oil. The bike fires up easily and idles happily once it's warm. It runs nice and smooth, pulls strong, and shifts through all the gears very smoothly. Everything works on the bike except the odometer, so the actual mileage is unknown. The timing chains on these are known to make some noise and this one can be heard at idle. It goes away at all other engine speeds. There is a bracket for the brake hose mounted to the upper triple clamp and it contacts the tank if the bars are turned too far which has caused a dent as seen in the pictures below.
