1979 Honda CBX

One owner 1979 CBX, clear title, in need of total restoration. Bike is complete and unmolested, other than the seat and tail. The bike appears to have been last ridden in 1996, the odometer shows approximately 25xxx miles. I'm guessing the owner's priorities changed and the bike was parked and forgotten. The front calipers were removed to ease moving the bike. I don't believe the bike has ever fallen or been crashed, there's not a mark on it. There is some rust, as seen in the pictures. The exhaust does not appear to have any holes in it, but does have surface rust. The bike may be worth more in parts than as a restoration project. The sidecovers are nice, so are the gauges, headlight assembly, and lots of other hard to find parts. I have not made any effort to start the motorcycle. The engine appears to be stuck.
