Only thing not working is cruise control, light comes on, but does not engage. No warning or dash lights I bought this vehicle from the original owners daughter, he had the money to buy it in 1999, (39,000 DOLLARS+) But not the good sense to have it serviced regularly. Thermostat froze shut, he added radiator sealer losing water, and that clogged the radiator and reduced any cooling to zero, he drove till the engine was ruined and not repairable, (bearings, rods,1 piston, and 3 valve seats), a rebuilt engine was purchased and installed along with a slew of new parts that i considered borderline. Brand New radiator New thermostat lifetime guarantee from failing, should engine ever run toward hot it will lock itself open,for maximum water flow, and has to be removed and reset to be as original it's 195 degree. New electric fans relay, 2017 version life time guarantee i'll give you all the paperwork. New clutch fan although the old one worked, it could not sense heat build up in the center of the radiator because the sealer had closed most of those cores, not allowing the radiator to send hot water information, thus it never engaged. 2 Brand new, not rebuilt front axles, old axles had small tares in the boots, and not smart to clean and reboot almost the same money involved. 2 Brand new rear wheel ABS sensors, 1 was shorted and so a dash light failure, both replaced as i wanted it like new, dash light went right off. Jeeps have what i might say is the best drive ABS system with 4 wheel drive, in can actually dial down to 100% power to the last wheel having traction, no wonder they are so great for cross country. New rear gas operated shocks both, don't no why old one were bad at this mileage they did not leak but one did make a knock noise from being defective. New rear wheels, both new brakes, rotors were fine. front brakes are more than 75% usable. Tires are mounted on Alloy rims, the rims are good but have some signs of off road abuse, but i have driven this vehicle to 90 mph. and there is no shake or steering problem, tire size is 255/70r/16 and they are 95% new as pictures will show. There is a small upholstery wear point on the driver side seat and back all the way to the left bottom, and it is small, could probably be repaired by or with some upholstery color glue, also the same thing on the drivers arm rest 2 small cracks. Lastly the muffler has a seam open about 1 inch long, no fumes and still quiet, but eventually will have to be replaced' buy the way sunroof works perfectly.and the wife said no mountain climbing for me, OH WELL.
