Vehicle Detail
1928 Model A. I have accumulated too many cars and can not give them the attention they need. This Model A is registered to me and in a non-operation status with the DMV. No penalties due. I have the title in hand. It was bought from an estate sale after setting over 10 years. I cleaned tank and carb, added a new battery and changed oil. It started right up and all the gears work fine. No leaks (except water pump seepage, which has really slowed since running a few times) or smoke. It looks like all new wiring and everything works, lights, brake lights, horn and even the speedo. A 6 volt alternator has been added, made especially for a Model A and it looks natural. Body is very straight. A couple little dime size paint bubbles but no rust through. Solid frame. Nice interior with a dark grey suade material and nice door panels. Windows all work. The tires have lots of tread and hold air fine, however they are old and weather cracked. Let me know if you want additional pictures or information. Sorry, I haven't detailed or even wiped off the dust under the hood. I just want to show as acturately as possible. This is the way it came out of the storage building at the estate sale. It is for sale locally so must reserve the right to end early if necessary. Also being sold as is . Have not driven extensively but it always starts right up when moved around. I have a very low and fair reserve. Also you can see my excellent feedback after buying and selling old cars for years! If I can't get a fair price I will keep and enjoy. The car is a '28 as noted by body attachment of tail light bracket and emergency brake position. However it was first sold in 1929, so the title and registration reflect that. It is an older restoration but still very presentable. The top is in excellent shape and doesn't leak. Shipping will be the buyers responsibility but I can help locate a shipper and make sure it gets loaded safely. I would consider a tarde for a four door of the same quality or better. It is just difficult for my friends to get in the back, ( All 70 plus!!) when going for a ride.On Apr-13-17 at 16:39:29 PDT, seller added the following information: I am adding a picture of the right side of motor compartment as requested. Again I apologize for not detailing, at least a little!
