SHIPPING: BRING A TRAILER Hi, Matching numbers 1959 R60 (T60) - Before it was tagged a /2... Please choose buyer option. Buyer 1: You know what you're looking at. Proceed to read through below and make your decision to offer me a fair amount for the motorcycle and all the parts listed. I assume that you assume that you know the market value of the parts listed in the picture. You are sincere and you do know that I was able to pick this lot for a fair price and we have mutual respect for each others position in this transaction. Buyer 2: You're emotional. You just want one. You have no idea how much it'll cost to get this thing going. Don't bother reading what I listed below, you won't remember it. I'm ready for your lowball offer... I will not reply. My story: I am the third owner that was going to restore this bike. The second owner had the bike since the early 1970's, purchased it his freshman year of college somewhere in Pennsylvania or Baltimore... The first owner is probably dead, the second owner doesn't remember, you can contact BMW registry and spend your Sunday afternoons doing that yourself with a cold beer in hand. I purchased the motorcycle February of 2016. The bike was running. See the tags on the "blue" license plate, it has a sticker for 2015. (Oh shit... he wasn't lying when he said the second owner had it since the 70s... and it was on the road in 2015!) The gearbox shifted through every gear when I test rode it. Mileage - it reads 24K+... I highly doubt this is accurate, make your own judgement No I cannot contact the previous owner to answer more questions. He was ill and selling his personal bikes... so you prob get it... I hope... What happened since 2015... It sat in my living room. I started cutting away the 40+ year old home mechanic wiring. I chose a color. I had dreams of a sidecar... Then three /5's landed on my lap... etc. etc... Extra Parts: - R69S gearbox. The old timer also had a R69S Conversion. So he no longer needed the gearbox. Shifts through every gear. Note it comes with a shift lever and a kick start lever. You don't see that on ebay. So that means its going to be more expensive then the other gearboxes on ebay.- Headers that came off a R69S with flanges- Three US style handlebars- Two Repro Hoske clipons - One Denfeld Seat - Foam is dead. Only good hardware- One Schorsch Meir seat - Foam is dead. Only good hardware- Three Everbest petcocks- One extra Magura control perch with levers from a R69S Paint: Not Original Body: Front fender is slightly crooked. (My tip to you: fenders on ebay goes for $200 to $300 in this condition. BMW still sells these primered for about $450... Do the math and remember to calculate the bodyman's labor)
