***Attention Collectors*** 1972 (Built in 1971) Honda CB500 in Sunflake Orange Metallic, all original, runs and rides beautiful, minor patina here and there as seen in the photos. I just replaced the throttle cables and had the carbs rebuilt and synchronized. This baby runs like the wind and has no known mechanical issues. All electrical components work including the electric start, horn, tail light, turn signals, hi and lo beam headlight, and the off switch. The only exception is the neutral indicator which doesn't work. Tires are practically new, the seat is very nice and plush although it does have one little nick on the very back underneath the "A" on the Honda logo. Take a look at the pipes! The pipes alone are worth their weight in gold as you just can NOT find these anywhere and if you do you pay big bucks for them! These are flawless and have absolutely no rust, holes, dents, dings, or damage of any kind! The paint is original and does show some minor aging that can barely be seen unless you are right on top of the bike, but..., they are only original once so I left it the way it is. This was not uncommon in the day to title the bike in whatever year it sold (1972 purchase date vs 1971 production date). Either way, this is a 46 year old motorcycle that you can ride anywhere without worry, it truly runs incredible and will start at just the touch of the starter button.
