I'm selling my 87 Classic Mercedes-Benz 560 SL. The vehicle has been in my garage for several years after divorce and I need the space as I'm in the process of looking for a Shelby Cobra.The cars been in several car shows over the years and often at Cars and Coffee. The SL needs a good bath which you will see in the pictures to restore its luster, but its a nice Roadster with 117k miles which you will notice from the last 2 photos. I have more photos of the car. you will need to email me for additional pics. Repairs:The SL needs only needs a fresh tune up and set of tires. It's been garaged for 3 years with a battery tender attached. It has a new battery. Front spoiler repair needed or replacement. ( a hardhat flew off the back of a utility truck going down the tollway and I couldn't avoid hitting the damn thing at 70 mph). This is a rust-free SL and the mocha leather interior is in excellent shape. It' has the original FirstAid box kit (option) still inside, all service manuals for car and tops and original top release tool. The soft top is also in great shape and comes with hard top cover and stand. I put the hardtop on the car a few months ago and the cable latch needs to be reset from the trunk, I didn't want to unpin the carpet if I'm selling the car, but its an easy fix shown to me by the Mercedes mechanic. I've misplace the title due to several moves unfortunately but I just printed for submission the application for a certified copy of title to the Texas DMV.I haven't filed it as of yet because buyer may want the new title sent to them. Title is free and clear.
