I attempted to simply start the car and it sounded like the starter bendix was going bad. So I bought a used replacement starter on eBay. After my mechanic came and looked at it I was told that a camshaft had seized in place. The engine turns over freely and isn't seized. I was told I could either replace the camshaft, the cylinder head or swap out the engine with a replacement unit. I found engines online in the $600-900 range depending on miles. I have since bought another vehicle and am giving this one away for this price in the hope of finding someone who has the talent or connections to fix it for cheaper than I can. Again the car is in amazing overall condition and deserves to be brought back to faithful service. I have carefully checked online asking prices if I just wanted to part out the car. The nose alone is selling for my opening bid. I have put a starting bid price for that amount. Vehicle will need to be flat bedded from my location since it isn't running now.
