Your are bidding on a fun,clean, nice example of a very rare 1978 Champagne II Super Beetle convertible which has been garage kept its entire life and is located in sunny Germantown,TN I am the second owner( this was the 1st owners first car when she turned 16) & spent approx. $4000.00 on restoration 6 years ago: Repaint(Ancona Blue) which is the factory original color. New tires,brakes,fuel injection,new seat covers & padding all seats, stereo,etc. The top is original and shows wear(I would replace & this is relatively inexpensive) I've kept the top down the entire time I've owned & only driven for pleasure on the weekends (approx. 100 miles per year). Odometer shows 57232 miles but DOES NOT work. The Champagne Editions have a faux rosewood dash,upgraded interior,adjustable head rests, quartz clock, blaupunkt radio(I have in a box) replaced with am- fm cd. A fun weekend toy & will only increase in value! Great investment for the beginner car collector or someone wanting an eye catching inexpensive convertible. Sold as is & cash only.
