Vehicle Detail
Back up for auction and for real this time! I pulled the auction down before to get it running and to clear up a title issue. I apologize to everyone who was interested. This is Tallulah. She was my wife's first car and will be sadly missed. She is in overall very good shape. She does have some surface rust but none of it is deep. From what I can see underneath looks good. Her interior is nice although the front seats do have covers because they are ripped. She had an upgrade to a 74 front end not many miles ago but she's been mainly sitting in the garage for about 2 years. Recently she had to be moved outdoors and with no time to fix her it will be better to let her go then to sit and rust. We hope she goes to a wonderful owner who will enjoy her for many more years. It shouldn't take much to get her back on the road again. If you need her delivered, I have a truck and trailer and would be happy to escort Tallulah to her new home. Just contact me for a quote. Thanks for looking! Here is short video of her running. You can see at the very end she stalled out. https://youtu.be/dhCTjp0HH7s If you have any questions or would like to see the car please call me at 267-374-2305. Thanks On Mar-02-17 at 21:22:35 PST, seller added the following information: Some new info for the second listing: The car now runs, idles, drives and shifts through all the gears. It runs good enough to go around the block. It is still not 100% perfect though - sometimes it stalls out when starting from a stop. Do not plan on driving the car home, it should be towed. A little tweaking should get it running just right and you will have a great car! The engine/trans are in good shape and do not leak. There is no crank pulley play. Has a good battery and starts right up. Actual mileage is unknown. The body is solid in all the areas that normally rust. Floor pans, battery tray, spare tire well. There is a little rust as to be expected with a car of this age, but overall everyone who's seen it says its excellent. Regarding the title - it's in my mother-in-law's name. She will be in town for 6 days starting the day after the auction ends. That's March 13-18. This will be the only window you have to transfer the title. I repeat, YOU MUST GET THE CAR BETWEEN MARCH 13-18. If you can't get it then, do not bid on the car. I prefer payment to be in cash so we don't waste a lot of time at the bank or waiting for funds to clear. Again, I apologize for the frustration of pulling the auction down. If you have any questions please feel free to call me. On Mar-03-17 at 08:22:47 PST, seller added the following information: Made a video of a short drive. https://youtu.be/BmpVzRiGfh4
