I am relisting my 2000 NB TDi due to misunderstanding by buyer Although I have tried to thoroughly describe vehicle history and condition below to best of my knowledge, prospective buyers are invited to personally inspect by request. Vehicle is located in Mineola, NY Please ask questions and/or schedule inspection PRIOR to bidding, thank you for looking and good luck bidding! Minor parking-lot accident in 2010 happened from 2nd vehicle passing too closely.Insurance policy covered all necessary repairs to pre-accident condition, damage limited to cracked front bumper plastic & drive-side headlamp, both of which were replaced.No airbag deployment or damage to mechanicals or frame, clear title remains unaffected. Vehicle has been parked in my driveway and not driven since 2015 due to injury that prevented me from operating clutch pedal. It will need a new battery in order to be started and tires re-inflated before able to be driven, however, I am unable to perform either of these services myself since car is not currently registered or insured. I am certain it WILL start with a fresh battery and agree to refund and cancel sale if it does not. Asides from above offer, I am selling vehicle as-is where-is. Prefer to deal locally to NY, 11501 but will help with buyer arranged shipping. -I am 3rd owner of cosmetically average 17-year old VW NB TDi-5-speed has good original clutch (due soon for replacement)-engine has good compression, running condition mechanically....lots of life for a VW diesel with only 130,000-knee injury left me unable to drive manual-transmission-has sat in driveway and not been started or driven for approx. 2-3 years, oil change is recommended -tires still have fair amount of tread remaining though they need inflation -original timing belt & fuel filter were replaced @ 80k-will need new battery (or deep charging to existing OPTIMA battery)-passenger-side windshield crack does not affect visibility (may be fillable-fixable) -small tear on driver-side seat, interior has some staining from sitting so long-sunshade (seen on front passgr. seat) needs to be reattached -sunroof motor needs to be wired (currently locked in "closed" position)-working power locks/windows-no rust no major dents -missing front spoiler and 1 fog lamp (have replacement lamp to include only)-interior headliner sags (can be reattached)-aftermarket heavy-duty aluminum skid plate by Diesel Geek (see picture-replaces fragile OEM plastic) -MP3 player in trunk works with factory radio -vehicle located in driveway of Nassau County NY residential address-can be viewed prior to bidding, please email contact to schedule inspection-all questions should be asked before placing bid, non-payers will be frowned upon + reported to ebay -Clear Florida title is in hand for buyer upon receipt of payment-$500 deposit due from buyer upon using BIN option or within 48hrs of auction ending -buyer responsible for shipping & delivery arrangements
