Vehicle Detail

For your consideration is a 1976 Honda CB750. This is a nice bike for its age . It has new paint , new correct decals and a new battery . The bike has good tires front and rear with probably 75% tread life remaining . It runs , rides , steers and stops good , The chrome one the bike is nice for its age , but there are some spots here and there that do show some minor pitting . The brakes work well and all of the lights work . The fuel tank is nice and clean on the inside with no rust in it . All of the body panels are straight except for one tiny dent in the tank . It's hardly noticeable and you really have to look hard to find it . The ignition key unlocks the ignition switch and the seat lock very well , and it opens the fuel cap also, but I think almost any key would open the fuel cap . The fenders are really nice , so is the grab bar . Some things the bike might need ... The seat appears to be the original one and it has a couple of torn places in it . One of them has been poorly repaired , but it doesn't look too bad . The front wheel does have done putting on it , nothing terrible though . The bike is quite cold natured , it takes a bit to get it going in the morning sometimes , and it spits and sputters until it warms up . It runs very well once warmed up . The bike could probably benefit from a full time up . I just haven't had time to do it . At some time in the bikes life , someone must have dropped it on its side and they broke part of the lip on the motor that holds the points cover . Someone has made a sheetmetal repair plate that actually fits pretty good . One of the bosses that mounts the points plate is broken also , but it still has 2 left and it doesn't seem to be a problem . I have tried my best to get a couple photos of this , but it's pretty low to the ground and is kinda hard to get the best photos while stooping . Registration is currently expired . I took the bike in on a trade for another vehicle and decided I just don't need two motorcycles . This will make somebody a real good classic bike to ride and enjoy. I have gotten lots of compliments and questions about it when my friends see it . I have probably described it worse than it really is . It's a great looking classic Honda . Good clean Texas title , but not registered to me . I can transfer the title into my name if the winning bidder required it , but there will be a approx 3-4 week waiting period for the title to come back to me . I can hold the bike for up to 30 days after the auctions end in my shop if needed . Bike is also for sale locally . There will be a $500 USD deposit due within 48 hrs of the auctions close . Balance of purchase price may be paid through PayPal or cash upon pickup .
