Lot of possibilities with this great survivor. Hard to find in this condition. This is what started it all for Honda's Open Class bikes. First year of the big bores that eventually became the CR500. Get suspension serviced and it's ready to race or looks great as is. Not museum quality, but it's a very solid tight bike. Lots of NOS OEM parts: fork boots, chain guide, roller, nuts/bolts, front brake linkage arm. Lot of original OEM parts on bike (I'd say bike is 90-95% OEM). Plastics are all OEM from different bikes so color various slightly from each piece. Front number plate has a couple of hairline cracks around mounting holes (not noticeable), plate is in awesome condition, nice color, original paint, not scratched up. Front fender is in great condition. Frame was repainted, new DG pipe/silencer (minor surface rust), new tires, chain sprockets, linkage bearings, seat cover, grips, cables, etc. Has CR500 OEM bars (straight) and throttle. Bike has been sitting DRY for many years. Was used as a trail bike, then gone through and refurbished to use, but never was. It is a really clean bike that is mostly original, wouldn't take much effort to bring it back 100% OEM. Runs great no issues mechanically. Is missing the swingarm splash guard and bottom of airbox drain cover. Tank and swingarm graphics were lesser quality and will need replaced as they didn't go on well. Has Washington title. Bike is available for sale locally so if it sells I will remove the ad.
