I'm relisting this bike because the bidders last time fell $10 short of the reserve. This bike was fully rebuilt by Redline Powersports in Fort Wayne several years ago. It has since been ridden very little. It doesn't start, but I suspect it is a simple issue with a missing fuse and a carb clean. In either case, she has run within the last 6 months, so this is not a barn find type situation. Anyone with a little mechanical know-how should be able to get her going without much difficulty. There is some minor rust from exposure to the weather over the last few years. The front tire also needs reinflated. All other mechanical parts seem to work fine. Gears shift smoothly. Brakes brake. This is a Hondamatic. For those not familiar, it is a semi-automatic design with no clutch and only 2 gears. Overall, this bike is a good investment for someone with the mechanical know-how to get the best out of her. Old Japanese Iron is very popular in Bloomington and this bike will probably double in value with very little TLC and a few months of patience. She's currently located in the Nashville, IN area.
