Up for bids is this original 1965 ford mustang convertible. This is a car that was parked in a barn in the mid 80's and has been sitting since. This is a overall solid car that will need some but small amount of rust repair compared to most converitlbles. The car is a C code 289 3 speed car. It is a original silver blue car. As far as the rust on the car It has good frame rails, inner rockers engine bay are all good. The main structure of the car is good. The torque boxes are good. I looked the best I could tell the cowl is good but it is hard to see with everything under the dash. The front fenders, doors, and hood are good. The trunk lid is good. I will need rear quarter work and floor pans and thats about it which is very little for a 65 mustang convertible. Most of these are rusted away. All the glass is good in it. It has the correct back seat. It is a power top car. The car is basically 100 % complete. It has a clear title. The door tag matches the inner fender and title. From what I can tell this is a original car that has never really had much done to it. The motor in it turns free so with some work it will run. I have no idea of the condition and how good it will run but There is nothing froze up. This is a project car so it needs restoring.
