This classic Bimmer is powered by a Fuel-Injected 2.0L/130hp 4-Cylinder Engine. 4-Speed Manual Trans. 1973 was the final year with round taillights and small bumpers. It retains its Kugelfischer mechanical injection. The clutch and four-speed manual transmission feel good and operate with no second gear crunch. Gauges, controls and trim are complete, has replacement springs, Bilstein shocks. Hella head lights. The genuine Tii presented here is one of a mere 4,521 that were built in total for the 1972 and 1973 model years. These are sought after not only for their performance and rarity, but also due to the iconic round taillights and slim chrome bumpers that would both disappear with the introduction of a totally new body style for 1974. This rare and highly desired 2002Tii will make a fine addition to any garage, and is ready to be enjoyed for years to come. Selling my original 2002Tii, I have owned for 10 years and have owned many of them, So I know them well. The Tii is ready to drive and enjoy, shifts well, handles great and is a blast to drive. This car has been off the road, garaged stored for 20 years. The last owner bought as a project in 1997 with 88,992 miles. I have paper work to prove. The mile to date are 89,563. Then the car was brought back into service with all maintenance items and now drives great. -New / Recent items to include: -Tune up, cap, rotor, wire set, plugs -Oil and other fluids changed -Tires -Battery tray and new Battery -Rear brakes, wheel cylinders, shoes -Front brakes, with rotors and wheel bearings -Clutch hydraulics -Shifter bushings -Water pump, hoses -Injection pump drive belt & v-belts -Antenna, emblems and other misc trim -Diff , pulled, cleaned, seals and gear oil Thin interior is very nice, all the original carpets are not worn thru. Headliner is nice, uncut door panels. Dash has crack in center. The original Blaupunkt AM/FM works good and the center counsel is nice. Seat are good, one repair in driver seat. Heater, defroster , gauges, rear defrost, horn and lights all work. The Tii clock is not working and I am missing the spare tire. Rust - very little. There is some in the spare tire well as normal, under the battery and a very small spot under the passenger floor about one inch. I have inspected it well, on the hoist, and the rocker, strut and shock tower have none! There is a small crease in the driver door from a broken door brake, that has been replaced. The trim is nice and the bumpers are great! Note - Original color was Polaris - Silver, repainted many years ago to Chamonix White. I was going to return it to the original color when I restore the car, but it is to nice to take apart. I am downsizing my collection and reducing my storage obligation.
