I purchased this for a restoration project and planned on doing a frame up. I have another project car so I'm listing this. The VIN is a z code (401) but when I got it, it had a 360 in it. I have never heard the motor run but I am told it has low miles after a rebuild. 360, 4 barrel, TH400 Quadra Trac , Dana 44s front and rear. Cool project Jeep or dare I say parts vehicle. On Jan-03-17 at 20:16:29 PST, seller added the following information: The drivers side floor has been repaired but seems solid. The passenger side floor is through and has a hole near the scuff plate. The front passenger flare is dented and the 2 rear flares have putty and repair patches in them. The front seats have rips in them under the covers. The rocker panels also have a fair amount of rust and are through on the drivers side. I didn't look at the passenger side but may be through there as well. The rust under the hood is all surface rust with the exception of a small hole, maybe half dollar size, near the VIN plate on the drivers side. There is no headliner. The grill is from a Wagoneer of that era and not a Cherokee Chief. The Chief should have had an all aluminum grill with markers under the headlights. I also forgot to list it has cruise control and air conditioning. Anyone bidding on this Jeep should consider it the raw material for a restoration. Its not something you are going to throw gas in and drive down the street. If I was doing it, it would be a body off, frame up full restoration. Unfortunately my big plans do not include the money necessary to facilitate that. I would rather see it get restored than sit there and rot away. If you win it and get here and its not for you, you will not hurt my feelings by changing your mind. I will not respond with negative feedback. Frankly I don't really want to sell it and I go back and forth every day on my decision to do so.
