1985 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA 120,000 original miles,high output 5.0 liter from the factory vin code h for sale as is. This car is a good restoration project.Engine and transmission were rebuilt at the same time and have less than 2500 miles on them.The engine is a custom built 305 chevy 5.0 liter V8 bored .030 over with a mild high performance cam.Engine has a edelbrock intake manifold and valve covers.also has headers,this car has been stored away for 15 years.The car ran very well before it was put away,but now it runs but the power valve is not squirting.I believe it needs a carburetor rebuild.on its 750 CFM holley carburetor.The body has very little rust/surface rust as seen in the pictures.The body does need some boby work,this is it's being sold as a restoration project car.with minor interior/body work and a paint job this could be a very nice car.I was going to paint it silver with blue stripes.The interior is in good shape.The front seats have a couple of rips on them.The headliner has been replaced with a blue suede material which looks really nice.the windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced,needs new radio the factory one does not work.the dash pad is cracked and needs to be replaced,but all these parts are available from many places ,such as rock auto,classic ind,year one.....Exedra,,,and are relatively inexpensive,and don't cost that much money,need power steering pump and a/c compressor both are missing. that i sold to a friend 10 years ago.Brake have to be gone over,were replaced with new parts but the car has sat for a long time.Tires are dry rotted and need to be replaced.very ws6 factory rims that came with the car when i bought it.Don't want to sell it,but in need of money and have a new baby in the family and have to let it go.Have over $7000 invested and will sell it if the offer is reasonable.Have a clean New Jersey title,Reserve has been set low to make wife happy,if the bid goes over $1000 i will sell it...Good luck bidding on this cool 31 year old ride..........bidders must have a positive rating with an established history.Please call me to establish contact 609-579-4439 to verify you are a legit buyer.can send many more pictures...its a christmas give away,good luck,
