It was completely rebuilt in November 2016 by A1 Transmissions in Garland, TXFeatures include:*345 International V-8 gas engine (rebuilt in 2012, have receipt) * Chrysler 727 Torque Flight automatic transmission (rebuilt in November 2016, have receipt) * Dana 44 front axle w/ disc brakes * Dana 44 rear axle w/ drum brakes * 4-wheel drive* Chrome headers and dual exhaust * Beautiful Navy Blue Exterior Paint * Tan soft top * Roll bar * Power steering * Power brakes * Factory Air Conditioning (complete but not blowing cold) * Three spoke chrome/wood steering wheel * Bucket seats (original vinyl is torn under the seat covers) * Fold and tumble rear bench seat in original vinyl * Seat Belts * Center console with cup holders * Tan carpet * Factory clock and heater * Alpine CD player with (2) door speakers * Original 15” chrome wheels * 31/10.50/15" Pirelli All-terrain tires with over half tread left * Round headlight trim rings (originals were square and can easily be converted back) * Square chrome side mirrors (extra round set included) * 2 keys (one original and one generic brand)* Original owners manualThis International Scout II is a CLASSIC! Runs good and looks great! This truck lived the majority of its life in Texas (previous owner had it for 12 years in Mesquite, TX)There is virtually no body rust anywhere, which is highly unusual on these old Scouts. As well, body mounts and floor boards are in good condition. Has a nice navy blue paint job that was done recently. Only issues are the A/C (mentioned above) and the hood is out of alignment on the passenger side (easy fix and there is a picture included) and there are a couple small scratches in the paint on the fenders. New parts include battery, alternator, power steering pump and lines, brake pads, and power brake booster (have receipts for all parts). Scout comes with a tan soft top (no hard top included).Passed Texas safety inspection in November 2016 and would make a great daily driver or weekend wheeler.Unfortunately I am parting with it because I have two other project vehicles and need the driveway space. This Scout is a true American beauty and constantly turns heads while you are driving down the street.DISCLAIMER:PLEASE REALIZE THAT THIS VEHICLE IS USED, THE BODY AND PAINT ARE NOT PERFECT AND HAS FLAWS. THIS INTERNATIONAL SCOUT IS OVER 40 YEARS OLD, IS NOT A “100 POINT” SHOW CAR BUT RATHER A NICE VINTAGE SUV. I'M ONLY SAYING THIS TO PROTECT MYSELF FROM EXTREME PERFECTIONISTS. THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD COMPLETELY AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY, ORAL, EXPRESS, WRITTEN, IMPLIED, OR OTHERWISE. THE SELLER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CORRECT DESCRIPTION, AUTHENTICITY, OR DEFECTS HEREIN, AND MAKES NO WARRANTY IN CONNECTION THEREWITH AND TO HAVE SATISFIED HIMSELF OR HERSELF AS TO THE CONDITION AND VALUE AND TO BID BASED UPON THAT JUDGEMENT SOLELY. WINNING THE AUCTION MEANS THAT YOU HAVE ENTERED INTO A BINDING CONTRACT TO PAY FOR THE VEHICLE, AND DOES NOT ENTITLE THE WINNER TO COME BY FOR A POST AUCTION INSPECTION TO RENEGOTIATE AFTER ELIMINATING COMPETING BIDDERS. DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS AND PLAN ON PURCHASING THE VEHICLE. BUYER TO PAY SHIPPING FROM PLANO, TX.On Dec-09-16 at 07:58:22 PST, seller added the following information: I have had several questions about any rust on the Scout and picture requests. I have added a picture of a body mount, passenger floor board and the only spot of rust on the body. It's about the size of a no. 2 pencil on the driver side rocker. Looks to have been there when it was last painted (by the previous owner) and has not spread since. I have plenty more pictures of the floor boards and body mounts. Please message me if you would like more pictures.
