Up for auction is a 2001 GMC Yukon Denali 6.0 liter. This has been a one owner car. This is a high mileage Denali that we have kept around simply because it has been a dependable spare car. There a few good things to list and a whole lot if small issues point out. The Good: The engine and trans are good. The car has always started right up and driven well. It does not burn excessive oil. Car has never been wrecked and there has been no bodywork done anywhere. The price is cheap for a dependable car that can be fixed up a bit and be a dependable driver.All 4 tires are decent, (see photos).There is a full set of front and rear brush guards that were originally on the car that I will include in the sale.Had new transmission around 250k miles. The Bad: Paint is oxidized and faded, (mostly on hood and roof). There are some rust spots as seen in photo. There is a large rust spot on the front edge of the hood and the top of the passenger fender (see photo). There is an area of paint missing around the rear wiper motor. The photos for Ebay were taken after I washed the car so some of the oxidized paint does not show up as well as when the paint is dry. Steering is quite mushy on the highway. Also, front shocks were replaced with non (high dollar) Denali shocks so they do not have the ride control sensors in them. This gives you a service ride control indicator light all of the time. This is easy to bypass, I just never took the time. Engine does not burn excessive oil but it does have a leak somewhere and does require you to check the oil way more often than you should have to. Sunroof does not work. Some of the interior dash lights only come on if you smack them. Driver seat has a rip in the leather. Both front and rear seats are fairly worn. Third row seats are good because they were always out of the car in storage.Driver heated seat does not work, front passenger and both rear passenger heated seats do work.Heat and A/C work however A/C actuator door does not work, you can stick it open at the start of the season with a pencil. This is a cheap price for a dependable (but yes, high mileage) second car that sure would benefit from some repairs and TLC. I have tried to list as many of the issues as possible. This is an old car and as such is sold as/is. Denali needs a thorough cleaning inside and out. *** Please, no zero or low feedback Ebay Bidders unless you contact me first. I will cancel your bid.
