This car is an extremely rare 1962 Porsche 356B T-6 1600 S Karmann Hardtop or "Notchback" with the ultra rare factory electric sunroof. As far as I can tell less than five hardtops were fitted with the electric sunroof and only around 30 or so Karmann Hardtop T-6 cars exist. I had found this car locally in a garage and after two years was able to buy it. The original interior had been removed from the car, put into garbage sacks, and stored in their basement. When I bought the car I had it stored for a while until I started to put the interior back into the car. The car has a clean Iowa title in my name. The engine in the car is not the original but I am told the spare engine that came with the car is the original but I do not know how to confirm this. The parts that were taken off with the old engine were put into envelopes and labeled. I have filled several plastic totes with the spare parts that come with this car including the spare engine. There are even spare brand new rear side windows for a T-6 Karmann Hardtop. The bad: The car is not running but the engine turns by hand. The entire brake system needs gone through.The windscreen has a crack in it.
