Selling my recently purchased 968, as I am letting go all my cars now to prepare for career change. My wife and I were going to use this strictly as a daily driver to and from work, but now with a work change and no need to commute we are selling the last of our cars. This is not a pristine car, but it is an excellent daily. I just had Rennwerke Porsche from Elmsford (do a google search to see the many great cars and reviews) which is one of the best shops on the northeast go thru the entire car for me. I will be listing all the work done, but most was maintenance to get the car running perfectly. As usual they get these cars idling and running beautifully. Car idles and starts perfectly. The 968 has nice power through all the gears unlike my 944 which was starving for power at lower gears until you get up over 4k rpms. Body has many dings and dents and some imperfections but color still presents well. A good professional detailing would do the car wonders. Brand new top of the line Michelin tires all around. New cam chain tensioner which is an expensive and very important fix was just done. Cam tensioner was making slight noise, so didn't want to risk engine issue and we put in new. Compression test was excellent: 170 across all cylinders. Car feels very peppy...nice torque and sound at revs. also:*new motor mounts*all new filters*complete tune up*brand new gorgeous steering wheel with horn buttons (I love these steering wheels and was going to take it out for the sale, but it really makes the driving experience) I put one in any new car I get.
