Vehicle Detail
Hello Everyone! Up for sale is a 1965 Mustang Coupe. The Mustang is a T-Code car and was converted over by previous owners to a 302. The car has a 68 302 Cast iron block, 302 Heads and a 289 intake manifold. There is also a 4 barrel Holley carb. There is a 3-spd Manual transmission. There is a 5 lug rear and 5 lug front and there is a 8.8in open rear. The car does run and drive however the motor has 3 rods in the block. The motor does run strong though just with a big tap so the motor will need to be rebuilt. The transmission seems to shift smooth and the clutch seems to be good. The car has trouble stopping as the brakes need to be bled. The interior is in ok shape. The carpet is original. The seats and headliner are newer but would still need to be redone. The car has 66 gauges but they do not currently work. The car has a 66 grille in it. The car is in overall pretty good shape. The car needs the usual mustang body work done. Needs quarters, full floors and front right fender. The quarters and fender just need a square piece cut out of them and replaced or the whole thing, it's up to you. The rear trunk is in good shape. Some surface rust but very solid. The frame rails have rust but seem to be in ok shape. Over all the car is a very fixable car. Would be a great father/son project. The history on the car is: The car was built on April 12th 1965 making it a late 65. The car Came from Dearborn and went to Kentucky. The original color is Dynasty Green with a black crinkle interior. The car made its way to Oklahoma than to PA than to MD. I anticipate I'm the 5th owner and the V8 conversion happened with the 3rd owner. Clean title, no accidents or anything of that nature. The car is for sale locally so I have the right to end the listing at anytime. I am negotiable on price so send me your best offer. Buyer ships the vehicle and must put a $500 deposit down when the listing ends.
